[rti4empowerment] Painting competetion on Childrens Day

PRESS NOTE

 

            On completion of 20th anniversary of Youth Hostel Association of India, (YHAI), Sri Unit-1 (NGO) and on Eve of Children Days, BAL DIWAS  was  organised by Paramjit Singh (Program Officer of YHAI)  in shape of CHILDREN PAINTING/DRAWING COMPETETION from Class 1 to 10th.  Total 265 Children participated in this event. Mrs Raji Singh and Mr. Rajinder Singh Deputy Commissioner (Customs) performed the opening ceremony of the Event and acted as chief guest. Sh. P.V.Rawal Chairman of Youth Hostel Assoc. of India came from Jammu for this event. Sh. N.K. Kohli, Sh. Alkesh Kolhi, Sh.Gurdeep Singh Sawhney, Advocate Rajinder Bhatia, Advocate Harvinder Singh (Boby) and  Many other respectable persons were also present in the event. Sh.Natraj Jyote, Sh.Anil Gupta and Ms.Preeti acted as member of jury and prepared result. Following children performed best painting and secured positions in the Event and were awarded mementos, prizes and certificates by the Chief Guest :-

12        Sandeep Kumar        Class X                          - do –

 

            40 other paintings were awarded consolation prizes (gifts). To encourage the Children, all the Childrens were given participation certificates and all the children from Class 1 to VII were given one gift. Further all the participants were given refreshment in the shape of Juice, Chipps and Fruit (Banana).
