Dear Mr. Iyer,
Positive hope is good for health. When people have lost faith in corrupt politicians and bureaucrats running the system, Supreme Court has emerged a silver lining. But are you really hopeful that SC judgements will be complied with. The system needs overhauling.
Is there any organisation/individual in this country (Mera Bharat Mahan) to listen to good suggestions for implementation? I am insider having seen the system's working so closely for the last forty years, and therefore most humbly seeking this information/ractical solution to end/reduce this widespreade corruption started with a bang in 1969, from our learned and experienced RTI Activits.
With best regards,
Hari Goyal

when food was rotting and poor are starving the S C opined (ordered?) free distribution of food to poor before it rots! Agricultural Minister expressed that it is not possible- take it that that is what is expected of him after having been associated with several scamster organizations like IPL. It is the height of irony that PM dubbed the court supporting the agricultural Minister ! Is there no contempt of court committed by both ?
Having said that I wish to point out that the Police departments regularly engage criminals as informants! Is it not that the government emulated this practice in appointing a high profile criminal as CVC!
There is no department which is not corrupt and I am afraid money and wealth swindled are more than the budget provisions of the country !!!

LATEST JUDICIAL PROUNOUNCEMENTS – A RAY OF HOPE AGAINST CORRUPTION The Supreme Court has taken a tough posture against corruption and Court's proceedings in 2-G spectrum and in appointing Mr. P J Thomas as CVC Commissioner are positive developments. In the past, Shri S.N. Dhingra, Justice, Delhi High Court has pronounced some tough but forthright decisions. It is in the interest of the politicians and bureaucrats to read the writing on the wall. Bench of Apex Court said, "In every case, he (Thomas) may face embarrassment as there can be an objection that he cannot go into a complaint because there is a case pending against him. How will he function?" Though, Shri G S Vahanvati, Attorney General on the appointment of Mr. Thomas, has hit back by replying that if such baseless accusations are taken into account, then every judicial appointment can be questioned. But the accusation of some scam in the Pamolin case or an alleged attempt by Mr Thomas to defend the decision in the allotment of 2-G spectrum are really baseless will be cleared after the final verdict. At this time, public will construe such terse reaction favouring the accused which may embolden them. Out of numerous bureaucrats, there was no problem in selectin taintfree person for the post of a sensitive department like CVC mandated to fight against Corruption.
