[rti4empowerment] Re: Regret Inconvenience

Kind attention

Namaskar,

Thanqx for your response.

However it is not at all convincing, let alone justifiable by any means.

As such,  the Development Control Regulations of MCGM make it mandatory to provide parking for visitors inside the premises, either on surface, over ground podium, or under ground, ie, basement for the specified numbers of vehicles as per area of building, for visitors, for users of the building, for emergency services like fire fighting, ambulances, and so on.

This can easily be verified at any time.

Also, the private water tankers are supplying water to your hospital, hence they can't occupy public space, and the same can't be barricaded by yourselves encroaching the public space.

Earlier whenever I visited the hospital, these private water tankers were inside the premises, and public parking was not so adversely affected.

Your contention about emergency and urgent parking does not arise because the accident and emergency department is on the East side of the building, and there is a separate entrance meant for ambulances, etc.

There is no question of utilising public space for these private water tankers in such circumstances.

As a responsible and World class hospital, it is at the very least expected that some regard to the public convenience and courtesy be shown to the hundreds of visitors who have come to your hospital to see their patients.

Trust you understand the concern of the public at large, and once again kindly remove this avoidable inconvenience, and in fact give the parking facilities as mandatory by the DCR, 1991.

Its another matter if you wish to not to follow these and continue to disregard the public who are forced to park in totally poor conditions and give contentious and untenable reasons as below.

Thanqx.

Dear Mr. Jagdeep Desai,

We regret for any inconvenience caused to you due to the water tanker & barricading (parking) arrangements.

The covered parking area / compound is reserved for employees of the hospital and the parking space is very limited.
Due to this reason the water tankers have to use the outside parking.

Being a hospital, many a times, people come in a state of an emergency and urgency including visitors hence parking
of vehicles is done in a hap hazard manner.

Hope you understand the concern and once again we regret any inconvenience caused to you.

Warm Regards,

Team Kokilaben Hospital
