In reference to the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles, Regulations for School Buses, Rules, 2011, and all the current MVA, CMVR, MMVR, etc.
In particular Tour India bus operating for CNMS, registered in Pune, MH 12, is seen and heard, in and around residential areas of Andheri and Vile Parle indiscriminately blowing his illegal horn, even in silence zone, and driving dangerously and rashly from early morning, till evening.
The driver has been told by the undersigned, that he is supposed to follow all traffic rules, and especially he is driving a school bus, he should be even more careful and cautious.
However, he was defiant and arrogant, as most school bus drivers are, like not driving with seat belts, blowing the illegal horn, and driving in the middle of the road, turning sharply and dangerously, etc.
It is strongly advised to you that you instruct all your drivers and attendants that this is not acceptable, because apart from breaking the rules and laws, it is also a danger to all other road users, and getting away because there are no MTP around.
If you are a responsible school bus operator, then all the contractors, like, Tour India, Sai Ganesh, Aroon Travels, Rebello, Buthello, SBS, etc., will direct them to do the needful, remove the illegal horns forthwith in all those buses, drive safely, correctly, park single line, no going wrong way in no entry, wearing seat belts, not using mobile while driving, not cutting lanes, driving in extreme left lane only, not breaking signal, in short the basics.
And in fact register all your non MH 01, MH 02, MH 03 buses to Mumbai, so that all documentation is in order.
Your self discipline will go a long way in reducing accidents, safer roads for pedestrians, minimise noise pollution, decrease road congestion, bring about little more order in Mumbai, so that other places follow.
