| Hello, As we are aware that Cricket board is the richest board. But are you aware that Cricket Stadium of Jalandhar (Bulton Park) have been given on lease/rent by Municipal Corporation to Jalandhar District Cricket Association for 3 years on 13.11.1996 WITHOUT ANY RENT/LEASE MONEY. Later on lease was extended for 33 years vide house resolution no. 278 dateed 29.12.2003. This have been revealed by the Municipal Corporation Jalandhar in response to my RTI application vide which this information was sought. NOW IT IS NOT UNDERSTOOD WHEN INITIAL LEASE WAS GIVEN FOR 3 YEARS ON 1996 WHICH WOULD HAVE EXPIRED ON 1999 AND FURTHER EXTENSION GIVEN IN 12/2003. WHAT ABOUT THE PERIOD BETWEEN 12/1999 TO 11/2003 Further M.Corp Jalandhar have disclosed that Bulton Park Stadium is being demolished as this area is proposed to be develped as Sports Hub of International Standards with approximate cost of 200 crores BUT TILL DATE CONCEPT PLAN OF THIS PROJECT HAS NOT BEEN FINALIZED.....HA HA HA HA...
