Namaskar,

In reference to this

From the non technical person's point of view, it means, that there are certain height restrictions under the funnel, ie cone of the runway, for the safety of the aircraft while landing, and take off.

Correct me if I am wrong.

The photographs show the stretch between the Andheri East flyover and the Airport flyover, Ali Yavar Jung Western Express Highway, Andheri East.

The deliberately low heights of the road side street lights, I remember them ever since the early 1980s,  but obviously before that,  are clearly seen as compared to the normal height ones.

That the MMRDA, PWD, MCGM, MSRDC, totally ignored heights restrictions can be seen in the FOB, in the road direction gantry, and the hoardings, both in the median divider and on the sides of the roads, very apparent and obvious in photo number 1829, check the heights of the lights on either side of the road, and MMRDA gantry sign across.

It clearly means that safety rules do not apply to such agencies, which is a dangerous situation.

It also means that the metro line two, Charkhop Bandra Mankhurd will also encounter this situation between S V Road, Vile Parle West, and Nanavati Hospital station.

The plans indicate that the top of the elevated rail height is higher than the permissible limits.

The coach, the station above that is going to be much higher.

Such developments and lowering of safety standards, literally,  are truly frightening and shocking.

Thanqx.
