Anna is only saying what people on the street say dauly to each other and have coind the phrase "mera neta chor hai" much before Anna took the stage.
The people can openly see the absolute rot in the system , the systematic siphoning off of money meant for the poor is pretty visible , to them every ministry is a running scam be it education , health , roads , forests , minerals , land every thing is an opportunity to make money & money is indeed made... there is enough evidence that 50% to 100% of the sarkari budget is on the take.
And declaration of assets by our netas as enough proof . How have they made all the money , their assets have grown 600% in five years , while they were all whole time in politics . While whole time business men are happy with much less . Has the GNP , GDP , per-capita income of an Indian grown even 100% in five years ? If you look at the corruption , the size of scams , a few lac crores now , it has defiantly grown more than 600% in 5 years ....so a lot of the loot has still been hodden . The wives ,children , relative , friends , benamis, Swiss accounts hold the rest.
Which listed company in India has grown 600% in revenues & profits in 5 years ? From where has Kamalnath made his few hundred crores ? Will he reveal each & every transactions ? If no , then why a honest person in public life would want to avoid complete transparency.
1.2 billion people are not fools, they can see thru the arrogance of power of the politicians and the need of some psueo-intellectual to be what they are . Only an arrogant idiot party to the crime will justify this sinful , criminal mess we are in.
