Exercise your right to vote to bring in good people into Power.
Your single vote can change the future of this country.
So, please do vote in next elections.
Now, you may say that there are no good people in this country whom you can vote.
There is a solution to this problem also.
You have all the right to register your refusal to vote.
As per the section 49-O of Conduct of Election Rules,1961, a voter can decide to register his vote as "refusal to vote".
The rule states that," If an elector decided not to record his vote, a remark to this effect shall be made against the said entry in Form 17A by the presiding officer and the signature or thumb impression of the elector shall be obtained against such remark."

A case in TN Elections :

In present scenario, Rule 49O does not have any direct effect on elections.
But Think about this :
If more and more people start using rule 49O, and if the number becomes significantly large, we can file an RTI and obtain the information on how many people opted for rule 49O.
If the number is too large then we can demand for "Right to Reject" or "none of the above" button on the EVM.
This RTI will be a supporting data to our demand. This will make our demand more stronger and logical.
This is similar to taking Referendum in constituencies of politicians for Jan Lokpal.
Most of the people say that they do not vote because there are no good candidates in their area. Due to Rule 49O, people will atleast get a chance to reject all those whom they feel are not good enough.
Would you exercise your right to vote and bring in the best candidate into power?
If there is no good candidate that you feel then you can atleast register your "vote to nobody" under rule 49O.
So instead of sitting at home on the voting day at least mark your refusal to vote. This will symbolize your protest to all the candidates of the election
Will you do that ?
Share this information with your friends and relatives.
