[rti4empowerment] RTI NOT BEING USED TO BLACKMAIL - DGP MAHARASHTRA
Dear All,
As Politicians & Bureaucrats & Union Leaders are being exposed through RTI,they ( Politicians & Bureaucrats & Union Leaders ) have started issuing False statements & Press Releases mentioning Blackmailing of RTI etc ec. .
Although 121 Crore Citizens of the country do not need any Certification from Govt Authorities, it has become necessary to have CLEAR CUT confessions from concerns in Black & White.
RTI Application was filed in Maharashtra CM office & Home Dept Office seeking information about persons using RTI for Blackmailing, police complaints lodged against said blackmailers .
CM office having no information forwarded same to Gen Admn Dept.
Home Dept forwarded same to Dir Gen Of Police , ( DG) Maharashtra .
PIO DG office vide ltr No POMS/ 25/69/Pune Shahar/MAA/ 43/2011 dtd 24/2/11 informed that the information about RTI being used for Blackmailing is NIL.
On 14th Oct 2011, Maharashtra Govt Employee Union Leader G.B. Kulthe has issued press Statement that RTI is being used as Blackmailing ,
We believe that counter Press Release/ Statement is necessary to prove G.B. Kulthe , politicians , bureaucrats wrong.
Hence inputs are required .
It is learnt that some vested interest acting against RTI , are furnishing wrong information to Social Crusader Annaji Hazare.
