(i)The Public Information officer (PIO) Mr. P.Radhakrishnan,Deputy
commissioner of income tax, media circle-II, Room no.311, 3rd floor,
New Block, 121, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai-34,
informed me to be present for hearing on 20/6/2011 around 3.00P.M. in
his office, there was no provision for hearing to be conduct by PIO in
RTI act-2005.
(II)The PIO informed that I not stated reasons for the information
sought, as per RTI act sec 6(2) applicant shall not be required to
give any reason for requesting or any other personal details.
RTI act 2005 sec 6(2)
"An applicant making request for information shall not be required to
give any reason for requesting the information or any other personal
details except that may be necessary for contacting him
and
(i)The Public Information officer (PIO) Mr. S.V.KAMESHWARI, INCOME TAX
OFFICER, COMPANY WARD –I(1), room no.615,New Block, six floor, 121,
Mahatma Gandhi Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai-34, informed me to be
present for hearing on 14/6/2011 around 11.00 A.M. in his office,
there was no provision for hearing to be conduct by PIO for furnishing
information, in RTI act-2005.
