Kapil Sibbal being a SC lawyer that too one of the best in the country is an extremely intelligent & far thinking man . He knows very well that had it not been for corruption & mal-administration of the past regimes , just like the SE Asian Nations of today , Korea , Taiwan , China etc . there would have been no hunger , poverty & illiteracy in India . These countries too started on the independence path around the same time , but where they are today economically we will need quite a few decades to reach & may never overtake them .
But for bad governance , Indians would have had a dignified existence much earlier , the goal could have been achieved after 3 to 4 decades of independence . There would be no hunger, education , medicine & no denial of justice today . Sibal knows that the scope of tragedy foisted on Indians by the corrupt Congress is the biggest human rights crime of last century ...continuing till date. Trillions in public funds have been siphoned off by the politicians , bureaucrats , contractors , criminals , businessmen & the cronies of the regimes past which have kept the country poor and its massive majority of people in beggary state .
It just the thought of the day after that is giving Sibal sleepless nights & he is at a loss to find a good argument to justify the present despicable state of affairs .
We are going to hear quite a few such feeble arguments trying to discredit the man & his mission from those who stand to loose in this people's war against corruption.
