There are anti-corruption laws in Honk Kong , Singapore , Indonesia that work very well . Santosh Hegde , the Bhushan's & Arvind Kejriwal are all very capable people from the civil side , the government side too is very capable to the task , if they take it up honestly .
Currently our law does not even allow confiscation of property acquired thru corrupt means & many a corrupt IAS & IPS have got promoted & retired , while the cases are still going on against them.
There are numerous cases where politicians , IPS & IAS have thwarted the law as in Ruchika Gehrotra case till now . Jessica Lal & Nitish Katara cases only saw some punishment as the press exposed the corruption in the investigation & prosecution process . Politicians , IAS & IPS & judiciary are all seen hand in glove by the aam janta , engaging in corruption & thwarting action on fellow brother-en.
Whether it is by changing existing laws , or by bring in new more effective time bound laws , the country needs to see the corrupt in jail .
The IAC committee is still taking suggestions , which can be sent there.
