Dear all,
This page of DNA today had 2 articles of interest/importance to Punekars. Both point to different alarming trend in Pune,namely,the utter indifference and self-absorption of the politicians.
The threat to biodiversity is a direct result of loss of green cover whose blame can be squarely laid at the doorsteps of poiticians who appear to be deliberately ignoring the signs.
The issue of release of PMC buses being linked to inauguration on birthdays of politicians shows that our politicians here are neither "aamdars' or "sevadaars" but simply follow the motto of "self before service".
