[rti4empowerment] Bamboo and the Flute

Friends,

I present two news Articles which immediately catch our attention because of various reasons. The first is from the "Times of India" which says that- "According to Times Now, sources in the Central Bureau of Investigation have revealed that underworld crime boss Dawood Ibrahim's gang D-Company is planning to target the CBI headquarters in an attempt to destroy all documents relating to the ongoing probe into the 2G spectrum scam." It ads that Mumbai based CBI officials have passed on this information to the investigators handling the case. This, they claim has resulted in the CBI having strengthened security measures at the CBI headquarters in Delhi where the 2G papers are being housed."
There is a Hindi saying- "Na Rahega bans, Na rahegi bansuri.", which primarily means that if the root cause and the basic reason is taken care of, all other outside manifestations and offshoots automatically get eliminated.
Somehow, the nefarious and dirty idea, as specified in this News Article, seems to be based on this popular Hindi saying.
In fact there are a very large number of villainous characters in this world whose fundamental governing principle seems to be this idiom- "Na Rahega bans, Na rahegi bansuri" and they are seen indulging in doing all kinds of criminal activities which will purge and remove the basic cause of the problem and will thus provide a final solution.
A very large number of murders, including that of whistle-blowers and social activists, nagging journalists, conscientious police officers and government servants and zealous witnesses in criminal cases, are all the living testimony to this Hindi saying related with Bans and Bansuri (Bambo and the Flute)
