[rti4empowerment] EARTHQUAKE WARNING AND TSUNAMI WARNING SYSTEMS

 

Dear ALL,

We must agitate for and ensure Early warning systems and evacuation systems are in place and fully functional for earthquakes and tsunamis.I have been reading on a Group on which I am that the buoys which are used for the tsunami warning system in the Bay of Bengal are often vandalised by fishermen.That should be  a criminal offence.We don't have to beg.This is part of our "right to life"under he Indian Constitution.And if it isn't ,may be we need a PIL to that  effect.
