Mr. Modi bowled a short one and got the valuable wicket of ex-governor Ms. Beniwal. If the charges against her are correct, it is immaterial whether she had only two months or two seconds to retirement.
However, there are hundreds of case pending approval for prosecution against alleged corrupt-criminal senior babus (which term includes judges) and also politicians. One looks forward to (early) summary dismissal of at least a hundred, but preferably 500 or 1000, of such all-India service senior personnel to send a decisive electrifying signal that Mr. Modi and his government means business.
