[rti4empowerment] Request again for Executive Committee of National RTI Forum

Friends,

Kindly refer to my earlier mail (mail being attached at the end) where we had requested all those friends, who are willing to give some of their time and energy to the National RTI Forum, by becoming a member of its Executive Committee and guiding and cooperating the Forum through a democratic and open decision-making process. We have got some very positive responses in regards to my previous mail yet we thought it proper to make one more request in this direction, so that we could get the assistance and cooperation of a few more committed friends.

Hence, this mail to all the friends to kindly consider our request as sent in the previous mail and to come forth to a genuine cause, to be followed through an extremely transparent and equitable process. I am sure, it will prove to be a satisfying experience to all those who want to make a difference in our society. Your support and cooperation would mean a lot to all of us.

Would apologize for any annoyance caused by this mail.

Friends,

National RTI Forum, a Lucknow based Civil society working in fields of transparency and accountability in Governance (details being attached in the link at the end of the mail) is incessantly trying to make further positive contributions to the betterment of society. At the same time, it is still in its learning phase and is prone to committing errors and learning through them. Hence, in the process, we want to get in contact with some genuinely sincere and committed  persons who are willing to become a member of its Executive Committee and thus assist us in framing the broader vision, mission, goals and objectives of the organization along with the way to achieve them. We need these people also to guide the Forum to be of better assistance to the society.

It is not necessary for the concerned person to belong to a specific geographical region or any particular profession. The only need is that he/she has a social concern towards the issues presented here and is willing to provide some time and energy (which can be through phone, Internet or occasional physical meetings) to the causes with which this Society is related. One thing that I can assure, on behalf of the Society is that there shall be complete transparency, openness, mutual trust, respect and commitment in the functioning of the society and it will be a shared effort, where the person getting associated will have a constant feeling of having made some truly genuine contribution to the societal cause.

Hence, all those friends, who are willing to give some of their time and energy to the society (National RTI Forum) by becoming a member of its Executive Committee are kindly requested to send a consent mail at nationalrtiforum@gmail.com or at amitabhth@yahoo.com
