[rti4empowerment] Where is democracy?

 

People of the country did not protest against the minimal fair rise in railway budget presented by Dinesh Trivedi, who appears to be a little refined among ministers. Only one person, Mamta, raised the voice for reasons best known to her! She could single handed bent the central Govt and make it dance to her tunes and sack a minister who mattered! Millions (rather billion?) of people, including those from developed contries protested joining Anna's movement for a Jana Lokpal to fight corruption which is so glaring at every turn! The govt- the so called central ministry has not heeded till today (the democratic outcry of the country! It gives an impression that all in governance are monkeys whose rope is in hands of Mamta! Now where is democracy?
