[rti4empowerment] Bullet train, clean bharat, Kyoto, statue, etc. are all fine BUT ....

Dear Modi Sirji:
Is it a good idea to spend tens of thousands of crores on hair-brained projects like statues, bullet trains, Kyoto, etc. when bulk of the population suffers from illiteracy, malnourishment, lack of employable skills, electricity, roads, etc ? Especially as the proposed projects are near dead-loss: the statue will not payback or impart skills, the proposed bullet traing from Ahmedabad to Mumbai is in any case an overnight journey, clean bharat and Kyoto are highly desireable but arelikely to be a failure in the absence of properly trained / non-accountable and properly motivated politicans / babus.
One proposes instead that the funds be reallocated to rail-heads at coal pits on a war footing, hundreds of technical institutes, lacs of micro watersheds, etc.
