[rti4empowerment] MADRAS HIGH COURT MIND LESS

writ petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of
India, seeking to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents
to stop the rain water drain system and consequently direct the
respondents to follow the RWH system in road side and protect the
ground water level at Chennai. This is writ petition. dismissed. The
prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered at this point
of time,it is the admitted case of the petitioner that he belongs to a
political party. This is nothing but a "publicity oriented
Litigation".Hence the writ petition stands dismissed.THIS IS THE JUDGEMENT FOR THE PIL I FILED IN MADRAS HIGH COURT.SEE HOW OUR JUDICIARY FUNCTIONS.
I WOULD LIKE SOME BODY TO TAKE THIS CASE TO SC.THE GOVERNMENT IS
PLANNING TO SPEND 1442 CRORES TO WARDS RAIN WATER DRAINAGE IN MADRAS
CITY ALONE.
