Some of us,like you,get branded "mad" if we raise issues.I have been doing that about water gushing from water pipes as and when I can-locally,of course.Even writing Letters to the Editor-most of which never get published.We are in dire straits water-wise now,but drive around this country and see the utter disrespect people have for preservation of scarce resources-which,incidentally belong to all,and which fact has been blatantly and almost criminally disregarded by the powers-that-be.Water belongs to all-but people must learn to respect it.I do understand,thus,that you can feel strongly about things.
