Highly inflated PCUs in BBMP's Detailed Project Report (DPR) in 2006
The TCU only brings (an/a unidirectional) traffic from K. R. Road towards the National College flyover in Basavanagudi. But the Detailed Project Report (DPR), prepared by the Stupp Consultants for the BBMP in 2006 has taken into account PCUs for movement in 15 different directions at TC. 15 different directions clearly "inflates the PCUs". Moreover, as the DPR was prepared in 2006, "the PCUs could not have been so high" even if the aforementioned 15 directions were being taken into consideration.

· BBMP officials had claimed that they would complete the Rs. 19.5 crore TCUCP within 10 months from Friday, October 30, 2009 i.e. on Thursday, August 30, 2010

· Although none of the roads or intersections in Basavanagudi see more than 6,000 PCUs per hour (as on Wednesday, November 04, 2009) major infrastructure projects are thrust upon this serene locality

· 51.68 sq. mts. (square metres) of land is the additional requirement of the TCUCP

· 70 plus trees will be felled / chopped / axed / cut / razed for the contentious TCUCP

· Compound walls of 20 private buildings would be acquired
