detail of incident as follows:

The enclosed advertisement appeared in Sakal on 20th October 2012. 

Almost 2000 Trees will be cut illegally in Aundh unless immediate action is taken. The exact location is not mentioned in the advertisement.

The Municipal Commissioner as the Tree Authority under the Maharashtra (Urban Areas) Protection and Preservation of Trees Act, 1975 and the Police Commissioner need to take action and and stop this immediately.
