RE: [rti4ngo] Re: [rti4empowerment] Hats off to Mr. Kejriwal & Team & AAP

Mr. Iyer, the Janlokpal Bill which brought AAP into existence and became the reason for its fall too is "not in public domain" in spite of a hue and cry raised over it. Why would someone call the entire city to Ramlila Maidan to pass a bill but not show it to them?

Two days before Kejriwal was sworn in, the central government had raised the price of CNG. Certain auto drivers had threatened to go on strike. Even before taking oath, Kejriwal had asked for 2 days time to deal with the issues. When the media approached me for my comments, I offered to give him 15 days, not 2, and asked the auto drivers to exercise restraint because one must be given sufficient opportunity. And this when I had fallen out with Kejriwal in October/November.

So it is not about giving time but the way AAP conducted which makes us believe they have taken a deliberate U turn from their agenda and are hankering after power.

It is too early to make any comment of the type that are made as AAP is a party  just germinated at yesterday's rain! We will have to wait and watch! Established parties and the so called rebells togeether appear to be inclined to tear appart AAP, like heynas pulling apart a prey! The parties with 67 years experience are still not open to public concerns and they do not seem to be doing any thing but things are just happening! AAP and its team are born out of the taunting by the ruling parties when they fought legitimately to root out corruption lead by Anna hazare!! We have not seen such a massive movement subsequent to Independence! The cuuning and corrupt rulers appear to have virtually trapped the corruption fighters even by using force! When the rulers of beaten path taunted them to get elected and fight when you ask for your legitimate rights by constitutionally permitted means rather than complying with, it appeared the only way to democratically fight-thus was born aap!

If I alone go to a police station or Municipality with a complaint of nuisance of severe nature representing mself and the society at large the public servant retorts, after several visit, that " you only have the problem? Next time when I collect 8-10 people from the area they address me as a "leader" deal with me through their agents and goons threatening "it is better to keep quiet" reminding of adverse consequences!! As of now which political party is not dictectorial, other than to their hench man?!

I would request those who appear to be fed up with AAP and feel the earlier parties are better to give time, wait and watch for at least 2 terms and not 49 days! The aap government failed.,as we all saw because the opposition parties including congress did not support(obviously) to fight against corruption (which was their agenda) for which the jan lokpal was presented!

I would also request those still finding fault with AAP to form another party or parties in the idealistic path and lead to rule the country keeping in mind the welfarre of people at large!!!

Aaam admi party is just any other corrupt party and no more working on principal it was formed. Kejriwal says that in Gujrat any body opposing Modi can be eliminated, AAP is in same line, during discussions on facebook one of AAP member started abusive language, which shows their mentality. I have saved complete conversation and plan to distribute this in Delhi to educate people about mentality of AAP

We made a blunder for voting for AAP in delhi elections and now 80% of educated middle class who voted for AAP are having 2nd thought.

Dear Mr. Agarwal:

Now, it is time you learnt a few things:

a. your reply should be to the issues / points raised, and not general hair-brained canned stuff;

b. keep your language polite when making a personal response.

Victor, I have been reading your pro-AAP posts. It is about time you learnt a few facts.

1.       AAP is no longer "led" but CONTROLLED by Kejriwal and his 'team'. There is no internal democracy. The constitution of the party talks of bottom-up election of office-bearers but in reality, they are appointed by the 'team'.

2.       Candidate selection process is a sham. If proof was needed, you have it in the resignation of Mr. Ashok Agarwal today – a member of National Executive, the top decision making body.

3.       Funding in AAP is not transparent. Only online donations are reflected on the website. If you were to give a cheque for, say Rs.25,000, it won't be seen on the website. The central office has no knowledge and little control over state and district level collections and expenses.

4.       AAP's sheen of morality and no-ticket-to-under-trials has worn off. Several candidates have multiple criminal charges slapped on them.

The entire existence of AAP rests on negative politics. We are yet to see a vision or a roadmap to development emerging from AAP.

Regards

Rakesh

Whether we agree with them or not, The Aam Aadmi Party led by Mr. Kejriwal and his team have demonstrated that elections can be won without black money and without goonda / criminal elements. This is a great gift to the nation. It is now for the Cong-UPA / BJP-NDA to demonstrate their true concern for the nation by giving bail to the likes of Yedduruppa, Raja, Chavan, Kalmadi, Lalus, Paswans, Maulayms. Please come forward and demonstrate, not by mere words, but by your actions that you are national parties.
