[rti4empowerment] Some steps necessary to be taken by EC during the forthcoming elections in five states

 

Dear All,

Sometimes ago, I suggested that EC must ensure provision of a buttom on all EVMs/ballot papers to enable voters to use their Right to Reject under existing law and also to enable all such votes to be counted.

Anothe suggestion is that all District Election Officers must ensure publication of candidates 'biodata and their declarations reg their assets and involvement in crime cases in local papewrs for info of voters. This is why the candidates are required to give this info while filing their candidature.
