| Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh has always been cornered by political parties for failing to control law and order situation in the state and before the 2012 Assembly polls when exit polls predicted the comeback of the party again it was the same issue which was raised. However, when the party stormed back to the power in the 2012 assembly polls, the government claimed to have tightened the noose of the miscreants and alleged party workers but again failed to deliver on this front. The game of crowning of the tainted minister and then shunting them out to garner support and earn repute in the eye of the public, was already being played, meanwhile, one more game plan was introduced; it was reinstating the tainting official, last week in a major administrative reshuffle, Sadakant Shukla was again handed the charge of the department which saw him shunted to Central Home Ministry for dubious work. Sadakant was sent back to the state before the completion of his deputation. Sadakant Shukla has the history of charges of colluding with the Land Mafios.
