This email is for the property owners at Delhi. Others are requested to forgive for taking their time or forward it to their friends at Delhi.
On 31 March, 2013, the three civic agencies gave a Public Notice about the Property Tax for 2013-14 in the daily newspapers.
Good news is that there is no increase in the Property Tax of residential properties for the year 2013-14.
In addition, the 3 Corporations will give 2 % additional rebate, if the data is entered in the computer and a challan is generated for payment by any one of the 3 options ie by Credit Card, at the Designated Banks or Cash Counters.
In the a/m Notices, the rebate of 30 % for the Defence Personnel was left out due to clerical mistake. This has been corrected and a Corrigendum is likely to be issued in a day or so.
The computer systems are getting updated and pl give them a few days more to stabillise.
