Re: [rti4empowerment] Re: Two prayers, Or are they one?

Dear Ms Vinita,

You were presumably pissed at the frequency of the "off topic"
mails as you said and not by their content perse.
The call for decorum was provoked from you ridiculing a post as stupid.
The word you could and should have used was "off topic"

You talk about personal space while explaining decorum.
Could you tell me what part of a group constitutes personal space???

No one forces anyone to join a group.
So mere membership of a group does not translate into
proprietory rights over the group's contents,
which by the way is the sole right of the Owner of the group.

And even here, decorum consists of first pointing out to the
"off topic" member that he/she is straying from the group theme
and to kindly desist from it.
Failure to comply provides a socially acceptable manner of
evicting a member from the group.

Nowhere does it imply ridicule.

You talk about the vast silent unsatisfied majority.
Well, A majority that refuses to speak up should very well
resign itself to being ruled by the vociferous vocal minority.

And isn't that what is happening all over the country??
The criminals get away because the majority is silent.

And If my postings or this exchange with you provokes
the silent majority at least here in this group into action,
Believe me, when I say this
I would leave the group with a badge of honour

With best wishes,
from

Dear RAHUL

Please don't teach me what constitutes decorum.
An ingredient of decorum is respect for others and
their personal spaces.

The fact that many persons beside me are "pissed
off" is clear from recent emails to this group.
I am speaking on behalf of the silent majority here
who are unsatisfied that a vocal microscopic minority
is spamming this list with irrelevant emails, all in
disregard for this group's stated objectives.

This is simply a plea for sanity and sharing the
same common space.

Dr. Vinita
