in coming next week political parties shall be booned with RTI act amendment. it was sure to happen as almost all political parties had united their hands on this matter .
UNITED THEY STAND,DIVIDED THEY FALL.
yes, we,the RTI activists are a divided lot.each one doing his pitty efforts and trying to getting them published in newspapers for his future records.
i feel pity on all those stalwart rti activists of nation who themselves or thru their NGOs collects crores of rupees in the name of strengthening RTI , but at this crucial time ,were seen busy with raising placards at public places or floating online petitions or doing with public referendums with some 1800 odd people in metros.
all these things maybe okay if we were confronting with the bureaucracy. but this time it is parliament.
i may be wrong but in my opinion 1 lakh online signature will do nothing to move the thick skinned politicians.
what we needed was a crowd of 1 lakh at parliament that too ready for martyrdom for the sake of RTI.
if we have these resource people to save RTI then its okay or else like others tomarrow I too shall stand with a placard at Hazratganj in Lucknow .
