Kind Attn. – RTI activists of the nation : Proposal for DHARNA at
jantar mantar new delhi for RTI

Dear fellow RTI activists of the nation,

As we all are aware, RTI is in a very pitiable state . Bureaucracy,
info-commissions , judiciary, politicians have left no stone unturned
to weaken the RTI by entangling it in legal jargons and procedural
web.

We, the RTI activists of Uttar Pradesh ( UPCPRI ) are of the view that
a unified national approach is needed to address the problems related
to effective implementation of RTI act in letter & spirit as envisaged
in act .

We propose a one day DHARNA at Jantar Mantar New Delhi for RTI on the
day of our future president's oath taking ceremony. we wish that
there should be representation of all states of the country.

If the proposal is agreeable to you all , please inform us so that we
should proceed further to complete the formalities for the dharna .
