Dear Delhietes,

This mail is for the owners of property in Delhi. Others may please forgive for taking their time and forget. However, you may forward it to your friends in Delhi who are not on this group.

Property Tax for the Year 2012-13 is due.

There was an Ad in the leading Newspapers about the Property Tax a few days back.

We have clarified with the senior officers of MCD as under :

1. There is no increase in the rates of the Property Tax. So one pays the same amount as last year.

2. There is no change in the procedure for payment on line via the Bank / credit card.

3.  Persons who want to pay manually, have to obtain fresh forms from the respective Corporation and pay at their offices only.

     Hence, it is suggested and recommended that every one should try to pay " ON LINE ". Please enter your data after going to their web site  www.mcdpropertytax.in  .  It is very simple and takes only a few minutes first time, and then only A few seconds in the years to follow.

I would like to take this opportunity to request you all to come out in large numbers on 15 Apr to vote for the MCD elections and spread the message.

The Grand Finale of the Awareness Campaign " Delhi-Come Out and Vote " will be organised in the form of a Mini Marathon at National Stadium .at 0800 hrs on Friday , 13 April..... RUN TO VOTE ..... many Sporting Personalities and students have ensured their participation.

Shri Rakesh Mehta, State Election Commissioner has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest and Flag Off the event.
