A housing
society in which top politicians and bureaucrats own flats has come up on a
Bandra plot which was reserved to construct a hostel for students from backward
classes. And like the controversial Adarsh society in Colaba, Bandras Sai
Prasad cooperative housing society also violates coastal regulation zone (CRZ)
rules, a query under the Right to Information (RTI) Act has revealed.
Congress leader Kripashankar Singh, his brother-in-law Surendra Pratap Uma
Shankar Singh, former BMC commissioner Jairaj Phatak, joint commissioner of
police Himanshu Roy, several IAS and IPS officers, Ram Shankar Pandey who says
he sells vegetables in the APMC market in Navi Mumbai and a school peon from
Dhule with an annual income of Rs55,000 own houses in the 10-storey building
with 1,500sqft flats.
This group SILENT VOICE RTI activists do not go after stalls who are cooking on
roads,despite high court order, many of which have patronage of Politicians,
but go after big sharks,risking their lives
SAI PRASAD SOCIETY is just the tip of the iceberg, there are many more
in H/W ward that will come under the scanner in due course, which will be
exposure at the right time by SILENT VOICE, who have a lot of documents,
housing societies, club houses etc having obtained occupation certificate,now
otters club expansion being investigated,, all of which having got occupation
certificate having patronage of Ministers,
