The PIO has denied information on query-1 claiming exemption under Section 8(1)(h) of the
RTIA ct. he PIO claims that the investigation report has been sent to the Ministry for taking a decision and
hence he believes he can deny the information. As per the provisions of Section 8(1)(h) the information
can be denied if disclosure would impede the process of investigation or prosecution of offender. The PIO
has not been able to show any reasons to support the claim for exemption. Mr. Rajesh Kumar, CPIO
Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is directed to provide the information on query-1 to the
Appellant.

indian bank vigilance dept refuses to give its report which was given to cbi and says since the matter is under trial in the court.how do i go about the first appeal.the bank says the information if provided will hamper the trial.the case is a cheating case.
