Thanks to the hugely inept BJP Delhi government of Madan Khurana era with 20 hour power cuts, my book forecasting clash of Muslim versus the rest civilizations, somewhere or all along the Israel to India geography, never saw the light of day. However, I still stand by my forecast that a conflagration awaits us within that geography, with China munching away for free on the sidelines.
It may have been okay for us to have been non-aligned in a different era, but this is a different world, one of mass production, easily available technology, weapons and communication systems to unruly state and non-state players, resulting in multi-border, multi-decade wars.
One wonders that under the evolving circumstances whether it would not be desirable for India to team up with NATO in this multi-border engagement, and to encircle the errants.
