I wonder whether our beloved FM as our chief Financial Officer has ever asked for a breakdown of the various elements of costs (of administration) and pondered over same? One wonders whether he has ever compared our elements of costs (administration) and compared same with that of other countries. I mean, were he to do that, he would be shocked to find that salaries, perks (excluding "other perks"), and benefits of babudom + interest burden would account for 100% or revenue ! Which country or business could ever survive for long such "efficient" use of revenues ?
One wonders if he will ever sit down over a tippler with his chief babus, and make a determined bid to fix this monstrosity (read free-booting) that typically takes the innocent shape of free petrol, free water, free electricity, free car, free driver, free 5 star and life-long medicals, free travel, free everything......., amounting to 50,000 crores every year !
Dear Mr. FM sirji ...... r u there? r you listening ? And do you plan to do something, other than offering Congress-like "solutions" ?
