In such cases police normally, register a case against the complainant only to harass th complainant and to dissuade the complainant from going ahead with the complaint and the complaint is mopped in the bud itself, to protect the racket operators. Police are already in the know of these rackets and are the partner in the racket on behest of the big-wigs behind it. This nexus is difficult to break. A long fight will ensued to take it further.
