1) Please find quoted below excerpt from page no. 5 of recent-most version 2.3 of the proposed Jan Lokpal Bill, 2011(Civil Society Version):

Quote:

Lokpal Bills have been successively introduced in Parliament for the last 42 years but aborted each time for various reasons. An effective, independent and empowered Lokpal institution is a need for which the country cannot wait any longer. This Bill seeks to achieve this objective.

2) Now, It seems, that there is some contention in the year 2011, between Lokpal Bill, 2011 & Jan Lokpal Bill, 2011.

3) In that case, can we look into the Lokpal Bill introduced in Parliament in the year 1968, which was aborted then, and each time successively introduced & aborted?
