[rti4empowerment] Personal firearms possession

 

Dear All

I wanted to draw your attention to a recent news report wherein I read that possession of personal firearms is to be allowed.The ostensible(and ridiculous to my mind)reason quoted by the Press was apprehension of "fear of Maoists". I would appreciate a discussion on what I consider a dangerous step which has the potential to unleash mayhem. Do kindly contribute to this discussion.
