Every year in monsoon many roads in Mumbai are flooded, rail and road traffic is affected severally, often children drown in open man hole, huge loss happens to shops and houses in low lying areas, cars are spoilt, traffic jams are caused. But BMC officials, ruling BJP SS combine, congress ruled Maharashtra govt. do not bother to take some drastic steps. Newspapers and social organisations do not start any campaign demanding some permanent solutions. Miseries are taken as part of Hindu life as left to god and destiny. If I was at helms of affair then I would have put nuisance detectors behind bar for not controlling littering for which they are paid, I would have put storm water drain maintenance engineers behind for not maintaining drains, commissioners for not finding solutions and not taking long term measures ..........Mr Udhav Thakre ji ......why do not come out in flooded road and see aamchi Mumbai and harassed mumbaikars including senior citizens, pregnant working ladies,students and so on struggling thru flooded roads. Media fills photos of agony of Mumbaikar but does not raise a voice and start a campaign as if they are only there to fill pages and not for awakening and campaign. Year after year I see photos of flooding and pot holes and accidents caused by potholes but never a strong message thru papers/ media.Just wait and see how many young motor bike riders will die this year too due to potholes. If it was in my power then I will hang administrators of Mumbai for those deaths. .......no one tells you this except Alok .......
