Having witnessed the heartburn on forums such as these,of users of privatised "public"-utility services, one wonders at the temerity of such an idea as espoused here in article. In India where corruption is supposedly rife as per various indices and privatisation of public utilities has seemingly not delivered ,one wonders is privatisation the panacea? At least in the case of Indian Railways, the reasons possibly lie somewhere else.Leave the Railways well alone,I say.
