UP government has no record of public money spent on CM visits: RTI query

LUCKNOW: The UP government does not know who sponsored the foreign and domestic travel of chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. Or so says the response of the concerned department of the government to an RTI query.

Activist Urvashi Sharma had sought information from the chief minister's office about the public money spent on the road trips, air travel and sea voyages of the CM in 2011-12 and 2012-13 under the Right to Information (RTI) Act.

The secretariat administration (budget cell) of UP though accepted that managing the trips of the chief minister it its concern. In the weirdest responses it added that.................................................................................
