HC seeks reply on Media interaction proposal for Govt servants
The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has directed State Counsel to seek instructions from the Ministry of Personnel and Public Grievances, Government of India within 10 days regarding the two representations sent by me.
The Bench of Justice Uma Nath Singh and Justice Mahendra Dayal thus sought the official response as regards the suggestions made by me for amendment in Conduct rules and the Performance Appraisal presently applicable to the government servants.
In the Petition, I have prayed that the Conduct Rules shall be amended to allow the government servants to state through the Media cases related with inside corruption, misuse of official position etc unlike the complete ban that presently applies.
Similarly, I have also prayed for changing the present system of Performance Appraisal of only the seniors writing the ACRs of their juniors to 360 degree feedback system where an employee is evaluated not only by the seniors but also by his peers, subordinates etc.
