Somali girl tortured, murdered by her family for leaving Islam
More Misunderstanders of Islam fail to realize what Islamic apologists in the
West always tell us: that Islam has no death penalty for apostasy, and forbids
honor killing.

NAIROBI, Kenya, December 3 (CDN) -- A 17-year-old girl in Somalia who converted
to Christianity from Islam was shot to death last week in an apparent "honor
killing," area sources said.
>Nurta Mohamed Farah, who had fled her village of Bardher, Gedo Region to
>Galgadud Region to live with relatives after her parents tortured her for
>leaving Islam, died on Nov. 25. Area sources said they strongly suspected that
>the two unidentified men in Galgadud Region who shot her in the chest and head
>with a pistol were relatives or acting on their behest.

The idea that someone who leaves Islam is mentally ill is very common among
Muslims, who generally take the truth of Islam as so obvious that they believe
that anyone who denies it is either evil and perverse (and usually motivated by
a desire for fame or wealth or both), or insane. Thus Rifqa Bary, the girl who
fled her Ohio home in fear for her life after her father discovered her
conversion to Christianity, worried that if she were returned to her home her
parents might take her back to their native Sri Lanka and commit her to an
asylum. Other converts have reported being given medications in order to render
them more docile and open to suggestion.
Traditionally, he added, many Somalis believe the Quran cures the sick,
especially the mentally ill, so the Islamic scripture was recited to her twice a
week.

This is in accord with Islamic law for female apostates: that they be isolated
and confined until they return to Islam.

This is another example of why Islam is distinguished from other totalitarian
ideologies. It is not just the apparatus of the state that enforces the
totalitarian ethos in Muslim society, it is the common citizenry. The coercive
mechanisms are so socially binding that parents will murder their children to
stay in the good graces of the community. Absolutely malevolent!
It will be seen as a declaration of war both inside the USA and around the world
but, since we're at war anyway, I await the day of enlightenment when our
government re-designates Islam as a political movement (and a subversive one at
that), so that we can begin dealing with it on an appropriate level...and end
its status as a "religion", where it escapes the proper ideological and legal
scrutiny it deserves. Of course, given our lack of societal gonads, it'll be a
cold day in hell.

Prayers will certainly go out for the soul of Nurta Mohamed Farah...a human
being seeking peace and a happy life ....things she knew she would never find as
a Muslim woman...Things didn't turn out well for Nurta Mohamed Farah as she had
a pious Muslim family....They killed her...tortured her....denied her dreams of
being at peace and happy...denied her the opportunity to have children that she
could raise to be happy and productive in the world..
Nurta Mohamed Farah's crime?...deciding to abandon the religion that offered
nothing for her as a woman...As a Muslim woman, she knew she would never really
have any rights save maybe to be wife number two, or number three, or even
number four to a Muslim man...If she were to have children, she would have to
agree to sacrifice those children to the whims of the Muslims who would use them
to kill others...she would subject herself to beatings from her Muslim Husband
who may not have been her choice for a mate...she would have to subject herself
to 7th century Muslim dress codes and rules from the Qur'an and other Muslim
texts...she knew a losing future when she saw it...no doubt she knew Christians
and saw something in them that she liked...It could have been their peaceful
ways, their prayers for peace as opposed to her Muslim prayers for constant
conflict and hate..It could have been Nurta Mohamed Farah saw how her Muslim
people were cruelly treating the CHristians and she recognized how wrong and
unjust this was...
Nurta Mohamed Farah no doubt knew she could be killed by Muslims , even by her
own family...She knew her future would be dismal if she remained as Muslim...so
she chose Christianity, where peace was taught, and if she were to be slain it
would be at the hands of the Muslims ...not the Christians...she was right...

tortured....drugged..beaten...accused of being mentally ill...
Such is the treatment a young 17 year woman, Nurta Mohamed Farah, received at
the hands of her Muslim parents....
Simply because she chose to change her religion to Christianity....and the
Muslims will tell you there is no compulsion in Islam...
After killing her when the parents were unable to sway Nurta Mohamed Farah's
dreams of being happy and being happy with a religion that offers so much more
than her religion of Islam....they refused to bury her or attend her
funeral...which demonstrates the love Islam has for it's
children....Islam...feel the love...

At first glance one can see why the lame-stream media would ignore this article
because of its Christian factor. They hate the Christians more than the Muslims
do. But, they slipped up on the treatment of the mentally ill.
