Can one ask for replacement of IO ( Investigating officer) of a police if same is found to be callous or bias?
What is a procedure to appoint IO. He is selected by Sr Inspector or he is appointed on some guidelines / procedure?
How can police register some FIR of similar nature same day and other be kept on hold for days?
If written statement is given then is it legally compulsory to give oral statement before FIR is registered? As per which law/act/ procedure??
Can police call complainant female at 10 pm for discussion?
