Five Christians murdered in a week under Pakistan's blasphemy law
One was murdered after he was granted bail. He was accused of burning pages of
the Qur'an. The thing is, such charges are implausible on their face, because
everyone knows that to do such a thing in Pakistan is to invite certain death.

Incidences like this show the the true criminal nature of Islam and Muslims(who
behave criminally following their religion. Islam is mafia like criminal
enterprise!!! Period. there is no religion, spirituality, philosophy or wisdom
here. Nothing but true criminal intent and behavior in this religion.
If it were not for the intimidation and threats by the leaders(imams) of ROP,
most people would have left this religion. I believe human beings are capable of
distinguishing between right and wrong, good and evil(even without the guidance

These murders occur because it is part of their nefarious theology of Islamic
works righteousness where some killing for Allah can be considered "good"and can
be used to offset sins.In Islam good deeds can be used to cancel sin like so
much acid neutralizing a base. (Compare this with Bible were it says the soul
that sins will die- unless there is atonement by the blood of Jesus)

you, they will do it while you are prisoner (execution) or they will kill you
should you be released....it has happened before...

It won't matter if the Pakistanis eliminate that law. Ultimately these murders
are condoned by Islamic law, what the state says is irrelevant. The only
difference will be the murders will happen while the police turn a blind eye.
The problem isn't the law per se (yes the law should be eliminated), its the
culture behind the law that is the issue.

Minoria, don't peddle too much rubbish - just think before typing. 0.5Million
people would be very hard to control, feed, march a thousand miles etc. Hindus
have a special relationship with muslims - they don't go as slaves - they come
along willingly when asked to do so by us, otherwise it would not be possible.
The hindu women especially play their part in this - persuadinig their menfolk
to seek a better way of life to people who know how to live life.

Inherently abusive laws lend themselves to further abuse, because they are the
product of morally defective decisions and the basis for more of them by
creating unjust conditions in society. That is what happens with blasphemy laws
in Pakistan when they are used to take over businesses, etc., as described
above.
The letter of this law is wrong, going against freedom of speech and conscience.
There is no "right" way to apply its provisions. It is not "being abused"; it is
always an abuse.
Ignoring it rather than repealing it just leaves a ticking time bomb for when
someone decides not to ignore it. And clearly, the local clerics and Muslim
populace are not in a mood to ignore it. Throwing in some judicial review for
supposed "abuses" of an abusive law would just be more of a charade for
appearances' sake and ultimately strengthen the actual law through the illusion
of due process -- for a "crime" that should not be considered as such in the
first place.
The spirit of the law -- which is all the more problematic -- is that Islam is
to dominate absolutely, and that unbelievers in particular must "feel themselves
subdued" (Qur'an 9:29). It should be no surprise, then, that the blasphemy law
is used in efforts to take over non-Muslim property and businesses. It is a
logical extension with regard to the overarching intent of the law: to stamp out
unbelief and even the slightest defiance of Islam's dominance.

check the bibliography.I made a mistake,it was the Sultan MAHMOUD of Ghazni.We
know for example(source:the MEMOIRS of TAMERLANE himself(14th century),he wrote
it)that when he captured DEHLI he says he himself ordered the slaughter of 100
THOUSAND HINDU PRISONERS because they were Hindu.Maybe Mahmoud's secretary

Marisol, I don't know if your post was in reply to my post but it could have
been so I wish to elaborate my thoughts further.
I agree the laws in question are in themselves an abuse. I also believe the laws
should be repealed. It is simply my contention that if the laws are repealed the
muslims in Pakistan will take it upon themselves to kill the Christians that
live there.
It is a sad state of affairs but it is a fact that no matter what Christians
will not be safe on Pakistan. If the Pakistani government made a series of laws
today to protect Christians from violence the Pakistani people would decree
those laws as contrary to sharia and would raise hell and protest. I would
surmise the Pakistani muslim population would blame the repeal on the christian
population and go on a theocide rampage and would forcibly convert and or kill
as many Christians as they could.

RAWALPINDI, Dec 1: 'Peace' returned to Ratta Amral graveyard on Tuesday night
after the body of a little Hindu girl buried there a year ago was exhumed by her
family and reburied in the adjacent Christian graveyard.
Their act of assuaging 'Muslim sensitivities' took place in the dark of the
night and under tight security.
"When we buried our Summan Prem there on October 1, 2009, we mistakenly thought
it was the Christian graveyard," an uncle of the girl told Dawn, tears rolling
down his cheeks in memory of his niece who would have been 10 this year.
"We did not want to cause any controversy, or annoy anyone. If the (graveyard
management) committee does not want us Hindus to bury their dead here, we
won't," he said.
Summan's father, Prem Kishan, was spared the pain of shifting his daughter's
remains from, so to say, Muslim to Christian grounds, as he was away in Sukkur
on the day for the funeral of his nephew.
Her family, living on The Mall, Saddar, is Balmeki Hindu, some of whom bury
their dead instead of cremating.
Summan's Hindu ancestry became known only after the family put a tombstone on
her grave, bearing her name and Hindu Mantras.
Tongues started wagging at this 'sacrilege' and agitated Muslim clerics and
visitors to the Ratta Amral graveyard raised 'the issue' with the graveyard's
managing committee.
They accused the management of negligence and threatened to stop burying their
dead in the graveyard unless it was 'purified' by removing the non-Muslim's
body.
Alarmed by the anger that the dead Summan was causing, the management committee
requested her family to move her out of the Muslim graveyard — which it did.
"We were not aware of the Hindu burial. Clerics and people of the area brought
it to our notice and their reaction made us request the family to remove it to
the adjacent Christian graveyard," said Ratta Amral Graveyard Management
Committee chairman Mohammad Mohsin Mir.
There are many graves of lower caste Hindus in the Christian graveyard which had
been separated from the Muslim cemetery, he said.
"It was a mistake for the grave digger to assume that Summan was a Muslim.
Otherwise the management committee is well aware that non-Muslims could not be
buried in our graveyard," said Mr Mir. His fear of the angry Muslim sentiments
was understandable.
Hafiz Iqbal Rizvi, Rawalpindi District Khateeb, holds that Shariat does not
allow burying non-Muslims in Muslim graveyards.
Chairman of the District Peace Committee Maulana Izhar Hussain Shah Bukhari
blamed the burial of the non-Muslim girl in Ratta Amral graveyard on the
management committee and the grave digger who did not register the names of the
dead brought to the graveyard.
