SUB: Please stop mental cruelty caused by advocates of accused on women sufferers
I was very happy to see news article in todays DNA that supreme court of India has hauled up Punjab and Bihar govts over police brutalities . A bench of Justice Said," Both the incidents have shocked the conscience of the entire nation".
The bench further added " these incidents raise important constitutional issues relating to article 21 and dignity of individual and further Hon Court has said we therefore feel that it is proper for this court to take cognizance of the gross violation of the human righs as well as the constitutional rights.
Now if we take a look at court no. 19 of Sessions court in Bombay. My daughter had filed a complaint under 498A and 406 with Vakola Police.Ours is one of the rarest case where we have solid evidences against accused. We have not falsly roped in any of the family members of accused in 498A which is normally so in most other cases. Still vakola police took 3 months to register a FIR for which I had to run piller to post and write to everyone available on earth concerning the case.
Then already 4 months have passed in anticipatory bail application. Here Ad Vasanthi Joshi is representing the accused. She indulges in all kind of insults, dominates courts, levels false allegations, passes demoralising comments, humiliates my daughter and me. If I want to clear myself or my daughter wants to say anything to Hon. courtthen Ad Vasanti angrily stops us and not the Hon. Judge.She is the defacto chairperson of court.
Honourable sir/ Madam,
Tomorrow is a womens day. Do we celebrate same to give lip service to suffering women.?
Is judiciary only taking up issues of women when others are causin mental or other cruelty??
If no then I request Hon courts to ask advocates of type of Vasanthi Joshi to not to use insulting, demoralising words, behaviour against women her parents and specially when they are sufferers and complaints. It will be kind of Hon Supreme court if they allow a video shoot of acts and words of Ad Vasanthi Joshi to see for themselves how she malignes and humilitaes complaints on false grounds and yet roar and shout down a suffering women and then run the court as if she is the boss and not the Hon. judge. masters it.
Hope proper circular in this regard is issued and strict guidelines is framed so that complainants are not scared away, and advocates stick to law points and evidences alone. However if and when the complainants are found at fault or wrong then all lawful actions can be and should be taken against them but courtroom be not allowed to be used as extra arm tactics center to pressurise victims for the benefit of culprits/ accused.
Also all PP be advised to rise to occasion and protect the complaint women from such unwarranted and unlawful attacks of highly paid advocates of criminals/ accused.
