Sawmi Ji has rightly exposed the hypocrisy of the politicians in fighting corruption . Pubic caste based tokenism is no panacea for actual reforms. Most states in India do not have a Lok Ayukt or have passed the Police Reforms Bill.
Is the right time to take the battle against corruption to ground zero, the states.
UP has undergone power shift from the Tripathis , to the Thakurs to the Yadavs to the Mayavatis in 60 years , but the governance on ground remains anti poor , anti development , pro mis governance & pro corruption . UP has a one of the most ineffective & corruption riddled execution of PDS , education & village development schemes . In 60 years the state of the people has remained same , was next only to Bihar that was at the bottom of the development table .
Now that Bihar has woken up , is time UP gets its act together too, sheds tokenism & goes for good governance.
