FILL VACANCIES OF CENTRAL INFORMATION COMMISSIONERS URGENTLY

After the retirement of Shri Wahajat Habibullah Chief Information Commissioner and Shri M M Ansari, Information Commissioner, Central Information Commissioner has only seven Information Commissioners against the sanctioned strength of 10.    The shortage of three Information Commissiners is having a bearing on the working of the Commission and the Government should fill these three posts as soon as possible. Mr. A N Tiwari. Chief IC is also going to retire on 31^st December and the government should also start process of selecting a suitable incumbent, keeping the views of public in mind, for the post of Chief IC.
